1. Last weekend we started getting serious about thinking about purchasing property. I started a spreadsheet. Q is dubious. Any tips from homeowners? How much research did you do? Will a multiple regression help me choose? Do people actually buy those property/street/suburb reports? Shall we wait for the next winter auctions, or is the seasonal price dip merely a reflection of the lesser variation on offer?
2. This week I didn't make it to the gym at all. I had clashing seminars/meetings, or the times were too late for me to hang around out here, or I had to go clean the house or other Pressing Excuses.
3. Yesterday saw Tim Flannery talk about his vision for a sustainable future. Crowded. He totally read the entire thing. During question time there was only one idiot who took the opportunity to sell himself instead of actually asking a question (the MC was very good at the start of question time and asked people to refrain from making long statements and just ask a concise question).
4. Today had a house/rent inspection for the first time since I've been in Melb. I really did have to go clean the house. Wonder how it went? I didn't vacuum.
5. Tonight I almost forgot we got tickets to go see Deepchild.
