So a wish I made in a recent comment is coming true. I wished for several days of rain and we've gotten two in a row. There are clouds hanging around now as well, but no rain so far. I listed some older mangas that I don't care to read again on Amazon at the beginning of the month (as well as a few books). The books sold within the first day and have been shipped and received by their new owners (hooray for delivery confirmation). Two of the manga sold last night ( Read more... )

So the books are slowly selling on Amazon.com. We are down to 74 books. Sad thing is we've only sold 48 books in 7 months of them being listed. This may be my last time relisting the books. Nine months is a long time to have something listed for sale and it not go. After that I might see about donating them to something like the books for troops ( Read more... )

I logged onto "My eBay" tonight to discover they were offering 10-cent insertion fees for auction style listings, so I listed the items that didn't sell last time around, plus a few new items. So Hastings neglected to tell me on the phone when I called before we decided to haul the huge container of books that they don't take back Mass Market Paperbacks, only Trade Paperbacks and Hardbacks. *Shakes fist* If I had known that to begin with we would have used a much smaller container for the books we could sell back (25-30 vs. approx. 150 ( Read more... )
