Amethyst is for February
So I swapped my layout a little early after all. I'm liking how it turned out. I may still tweak it in the upcoming days.
Not a whole lot going on. druidmage is back out in the field for the week. Here's hoping Gavin handles this week better than last week. He took his nap easier today, but then he stayed up later tonight. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
The books are continuing to sell on Amazon.com, though they seemed to have slowed down on selling. I had two packages to take today and so far nothing to go tomorrow. I've had 12 orders and sold 14 items in 8 days. Not too shabby. The great thing is they will list your book for 60 days and if it doesn't sell you don't pay a dime.
Still don't have all the paperwork I need to file taxes. I'm hoping the last bits come in the next few days. It would be nice to find out how much we are getting back this year. Most of the money will probably go to the credit card bill we are slowly trying to get back down.
druidmage and I have a new show to watch on Sunday evenings. If you haven't seen "The Dresden Files" on SciFi Channel check it out. You haven't missed much. This upcoming Sunday will be the third episode. We picked up the first book of the series and druidmage has already finished it. I've only read the first few pages, but am enjoying it as well. It looks like they aren't adapting the books, but instead writing new "stories" based on the characters in the books. In fact I think I'm going to go an try to read a little more before heading to bed.
