I just refreshed at one of the adoptable sites/forums that I frequent and noticed that I had a PM. Thinking it was in response to a note I put in my signature a few minutes before I clicked on it. I'm thinking the changing weather has pulled a doozy on me. I spent most of yesterday evening feeling a little run down and eventually my throat started hurting a bit. With laundry I mean. I've been doing the laundry today since the basket was fairly full and I didn't want to worry about it when my parents arrive tomorrow. Well the sore ear did turn out to be an ear infection. Poor Gavin, first he had H1N1 and now an ear infection. Strange thing was there was no fever with the ear infection, just the pain. He's on amoxicillin for the infection and children's motrin for the pain and/or any fever ( Read more... )

So I want to participate in NaNoWriMo this year. I actually think I have a pretty decent idea that I think I might be able to get pretty far on. My problem is whenever I sit down in front of the computer to start writing I get distracted by the Internet and never get anything done ( Read more... )

We've got a screen door now! Guy just finished installing it. Very nice to be able to leave the front door open and let some light and/or fresh air in. Aside from tonight, the temps for the next week are supposed to be highs in the mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s ( Read more... )

I'm grumpy for no apparent reason right now. I want to read a book, but I don't really want to go back a finish the one I started before I picked up the last book I read.
