Today I mailed off Faith's entry for our first AKC rally trial!  And I also remembered how the only AKC trial we ever visited was like....  Granted, during the two hours we were there, there were breed classes going on, but it was way more crowded than our APDT trial.  :(  I hope we do well.  I hope we don't at least embarrass ourselves.  (And by " ( Read more... )

Today I actually got around to reading the AKC rally regulations, and Faith and I are not allowed to compete in both Rally Novice A and Rally Novice B in the same trial.  :(  This means that we will probably do the A class for both days.  Now if only I could figure out how to fill out the entry form....

Well, I got an email back from the New River Valley Kennel Club people, and they are indeed not allowing poodles to compete in their obedience/rally trial in October.  Outrageous!  The email I got said that when breeds are excluded it is usually because there is a specialty show nearby, and sure enough, that is the same weekend as Faith's breeder's ( Read more... )
