Faith and I had the best agility class today.  First of all, we finally got to incorporate the weave poles in with other obstacles!  Not only that, but they were just out there in the middle of the ring. Agility was a blast yesterday!  Karen set up a mini-course for us to do with assorted jumps, tunnels, a tire, an A-frame, a table, a teeter, and a dog walk.  We didn't get to all the obstacles yesterday, but we're going to do the complete course next week.  Faith was really great.  I had chicken and hot dog for her to eat, which does wonders for ( Read more... )

Today I gave Faith a much-needed and sorely underappreciated bath.  It's funny how those ridiculous poofs she sports turn into sopping and bedraggled clumps.  After her bath I brushed her out and dried her with my dinky little hairdryer.  One of these days when I get rich I'm going to buy a real commercial dog dryer, the kind that stands up by ( Read more... )

Well, I did it.  At least, I started it.  My dog has significantly less hair than she did this morning.  As for how it looks...well, it's too soon to tell.  I'll finish her tomorrow morning, and then we'll see.  She certainly looks way smaller with all that hair gone.  Even if she looks dumb, at least she'll be cooler this summer ( Read more... )
