Rally Stuff Again

Well, I got an email back from the New River Valley Kennel Club people, and they are indeed not allowing poodles to compete in their obedience/rally trial in October.  Outrageous!  The email I got said that when breeds are excluded it is usually because there is a specialty show nearby, and sure enough, that is the same weekend as Faith's breeder's club's show.  I still wish we could go to the NRVKC one since it's so close.  I can understand excluding breeds from conformation classes, but I don't really think it should matter too much for obedience.  Whatever.

I am definitely going to the Lynchburg trial, although I haven't yet decided whether to do 2 classes on 1 day or 4 classes on 2 days.  We'll do Rally Novice A and B for one or both days.

Yesterday Kristen and I took Faith and Joey to The Pooch Professor for a little flyball practice.  It was Joey's first actual flyball class thing!  He was very good.  Laura had a Scottish Terrier and a Border Collie who were just beginning as well.  Faith and Sydney got to be demo dogs.  I didn't actually do that much with Faith because Maureen had to leave early.  We're going to do some hardcore rally next Wednesday, though, in preparation for the trial.

This is a boring update.  I'm going to bed now.
