Thanks to the organisers and all the volunteers (including me!) Everything ran smoothly from my perspective. The bad stuff was a lack of (booked) disabled assistance at Euston station, despite us being there on time. V and I had to rush for our train without assistance, which made me feel really stressed and knackered for the first part of BiCon. ( Read more... )

Lovely date with reddragdiva on Tuesday/Wednesday. We set of from mine to Hampstead Heath (214 bus to Parliament Hill Fields) and had a slow stroll for two miles or so. It was good to show him one of my favourite places and do something with him that is more my cup of tea than his. Blimey! I walked 7.4 miles today. Chingford Mount E4 to Hackney Wick E9, mostly using the Lee Navigation (canal). Possibly 8 miles, as walkit.com didn't quite get my route right. And I walked an extra mile around Soho cos I was early for my date ( Read more... )
