Lovely date with reddragdiva on Tuesday/Wednesday. We set of from mine to Hampstead Heath (214 bus to Parliament Hill Fields) and had a slow stroll for two miles or so. It was good to show him one of my favourite places and do something with him that is more my cup of tea than his. Blimey! I walked 7.4 miles today. Chingford Mount E4 to Hackney Wick E9, mostly using the Lee Navigation (canal). Possibly 8 miles, as walkit.com didn't quite get my route right. And I walked an extra mile around Soho cos I was early for my date ( Read more... )

For those of you unfamiliar with my experience of adoption, you can read about it here. I had a child, looked after her well for just over two years and badly for up to a year after that because I had a breakdown.
