Yesterday I went to Oxford Bifest. As I am an old hand at the bi fests and cons, I had no interest in the workshops. To maximise my sociability, I arrived late. I did lots of dancing to the multi-genred (grammar/spelling??) music played by the excellent DJ d_floorlandmine. Does anyone have any spare hangers for skirts/trousers? We threw away some in error in a recent friendly decluttering session. The ones with two grabby things that hold onto the waistband are good.

I've posted on freecycle, but it's all new and unfamiliar since the Big Freecycle Change.

The lovely self_etcetera came down to visit for the afternoon. We walked to Regent's Park. There was lying down and looking at the sky/trees. There was chatting. There was treating me to lunch! doubtfulace and I went for a long walk on Sunday from Camley Street near King's Cross to Brentford. This is the route we took. We walked west along the Regent's Canal, passing through Camden Market and alongside Regent's Park, until we got to the mis-named Little Venice where we had a rest in a canal barge/café. An old friend just called, and we arranged to meet up next week. I'm really pleased about this, he's someone I've known for over a decade and I care about him a lot. With work on both our parts, we won't fall back into old patterns.

I was thinking about writing a purely positive post, but then I thought that talking about how I'm feeling right now would be useful. I find it unhelpful to ignore my negative feelings.
