Well the last two days have gone by quite quickly, yesterday I felt rocky and screamed, so needed to do that as everyone was pulling me in several directions and all I wanted to do all afternoon was finish my work, mark all the education material and get the fuck out of the house for a couple of hours. OK the wait is over, in just over an hour's time hubby and I will set off on the long drive down to the hospital, my operation is tomorrow morning. I am currently on day 14 of the 14 day liver shrinking pre op diet so all I've eaten or drank in the last two weeks is milk, sugar free jelly, cups of tea and one salty marmite drink per day. ……. on the 23rd November is my pre op appointment with Shaw Somers and his bariatric team for weight loss surgery.
The hospital is over 100 miles away, the appointment is for over four to five hours long and will include the psychiatric assessment followed by a decision as to which type of weight loss surgery I can have safely, a good look inside ( Read more... )

Its been a strange week this week, for most of it I feel I was fighting off another virus, my head was banging, I fell asleep often during the days for a little while, chest was becoming tighter than usual and just generally felt crappy. A lot of it was anxiety with the build up to going to the swimming club on Friday but more on that later.

Its been a very busy couple of weeks, Lionel is now settled into his new student house with his two friends Dan and Jay, the three of them went to college together first for two years then on to uni for their first year so now into the second year they've known each other for a good long whilst and get on famously, so that means its one less thing ( Read more... )
