Its been a very busy couple of weeks, Lionel is now settled into his new student house with his two friends Dan and Jay, the three of them went to college together first for two years then on to uni for their first year so now into the second year they've known each other for a good long whilst and get on famously, so that means its one less thing ( Read more... )

Friday already, my head is still dragging along from last Friday, so much has happened this week its hard to know where to begin really and yet, I feel like I have had to stay horizontal for so much of it I have hardly done anything at all except I know I have crammed as much as conceivably possible into every waking hour.

Experiencing bouts of extreme tiredness then hyperactivity these last few days. Yesterday I felt like the energiser bunny on the go all day from late afternoon right up until around 1am then still couldnt sleep so knitted through one and a half movies, half an hour of financial news (WTF?) then finally forced myself to stay horizontal in the bed ( Read more... )

The MHE 1st Birthday competition was a massive success, I am in the process of compiling a list of links with photographs to display all the fantastic handspun yarns and knits, even one woven and one crochet project made from MHE fibres, there truly are highly talented people out there and I feel so thrilled they love using fibres I have painted ( Read more... )

Yesterday I felt completely down and depressed having been forced into bed by a flakey head which was a result of the volume of pain killers I had to take just so that my back could hold me up on the toilet. I felt so weak, in pain and very very sorry for myself. Anxiety kept creeping in at every available opportunity which didn't help, in the end ( Read more... )
