I drove from Jen's to Esther's in about seven hours. I went on Interstates the whole way, 86 and 81. The traffic was as heavy as driving the 401 in Toronto. It was very difficult driving the entire way, until the open fields of Pennsylvania ( Read more... )

Alida slept overnight with the baby while Jean cleaned up their little cottage which was pretty messy from a former occupant. It was wonderful to spend time with her and the baby. By about noon we heard from the folks on the island and were good to go ( Read more... )
