Easter saturday at Esther's
I drove from Jen's to Esther's in about seven hours. I went on Interstates the whole way, 86 and 81. The traffic was as heavy as driving the 401 in Toronto. It was very difficult driving the entire way, until the open fields of Pennsylvania.
It was so nice to arrive here at Esther's. I had a wonderful sleep. I slept from about 9pm till 10am! I guess I was quite tired!
Today I went for a walk up the lane and called MJ. It is always good to talk to people in my regular life.
I put loonies in 20 plastic eggs, then hid them as well as the empties. I watched as the under 25's looked for them. It was funny to watch. I had gone to the daffodil clumps and dropped yellow ones in them. I put green ones in the bushes and in the green clumps of greeery. I put them under conch shells and buckets, etc. It was fun.
When they'd found as many as they could, there was still one dollar in an egg missing. I guess it's out there somewhere!
