Windy blizzard sound...but too warm for that
The wind outside sounds like a train, or like we're driving fast down the highway. Every now and then something hits the side of the house or the window. I hear the metal roof making noises, too.
I remember hearing this sound during the blizzards we used to have back in the 80's. The sound of the wind would last for days, driving snow ahead of it. It's above freezing here and supposedly raining out there, but I don't hear any rain.
I parked my car away from the trees, but the way the wind is blowing, it could fell them on the cars anyway. Branches can certainly be blown off!
