Scrabble and dinner at Esther's
I'm so glad Esther came to church that time years ago when they were camping on the island! She's such a great friend! She cleaned all day, although her house is so clean I'd never picture it messy or dirty!
Dick had made a pork tenderloin roast. It was fabulous. He had marinated the meat in a bottled sauce, then cooked it with stuff you'd find on a skewer for a shish kabob.
I love being with Esther and Dick! They are such kind and interesting people. We played scrabble. Esther first conferred with Willem about making sure I didn't cheat! Pfffft! LOL. It was a great game, I even got a good point at one time, kept me from being the loser! No small feat!
We slept in a bedroom I've never stayed in before. There are two or three others that I have stayed in before. Very cozy rooms. Nice old home nestled in the Shenandoah Mountains! So pretty.
It was so much warmer than it had been at home. Balmy! There was still snow, but not that much left.
