Yesterday, I went to the annual Slayathon event, which raises money for the Make A Wish Foundation. It entails 12 hours of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel goodness.

So yesterday, I started my epic Backwards Rewatch with the intent to discover things I never noticed before, or things I'd forgotten.  With the last ep, "Not Fade Away," I found that my plan worked.  So...I made notes as I watched, and will simply bullet them down below.  There's no deep thought here--just observations.

Poking my head back in cause...well, I was depressed from a multitude of things in one ever loving shitty ass day, and LJ makes me happy.  Also, the 'verse is an awesome distraction (even though yes, I shouldn't be distracting myself, but trust when I say it was muchly needed).

So, I got into a debate on another forum on whether or not Spike's bisexual.  The other poster said that he was deeply passionate for both men and women, and I insisted that Angel is singular, not plural, and that doesn't make Spike  bi, since that implies sexual attraction to some men, when I think that Spike's feelings for Angel surpass basic ( Read more... )
