So, I've been doing this re-watch of Buffy (and I need to get back to Angel), and posting live as I watch here.  It's an all things Whedon page, but mostly about Buffy/Angel, as that is my [obvious] fandom focus.

"The Avengers," "The Dark Knight Rises," Spiderman," etc.--

Just Hollywood's version of high end fan fic.  Some versions are okay, some surpass the original, and some are mediocre or worse.  But the bottom line?

It does indeed sell.

I sold another eBook yesterday.  I'm so pumped right now that my goal is to finish the one I'm working on by Wednesday at the latest, so that it can be edited and posted.  The first one--I made it free for like, three or four weeks, and it got about 500 downloads.  Then, I switched it over to payment.  This new one?  I'm going to test the waters ( Read more... )
