This evening for a switch Mike and I needed to go to the store to get a few things for this week. Usually he just goes out and I stay home with the kids but I wanted to go to the store too. Yesterday was one of those rare winter storms we get every year. Except this storm was very different than most. It rained all day all over the Valley and into the night. I am so done with all of this Arizona heat! We are still getting 90 degree weather in OCTOBER!! CRAP! I want to wear my cooler weather clothing already. And I swear my body is going through cool withdrawals!

We did get a cool spell for a few days but then in popped back up.

Please weather gods... make it cooler!!

Our monsoon in the valley has started.  We got our first real down pour this evening.  It was lovely.  Doesn't happen often so when we do have a rain it is wonderful.  The heat cools a bit.  Not as much as it could... but hey, I'll take it ( Read more... )
