The last 2-3 days I've noticed a cognitive difference in Zane. He's starting to become focused on things he didn't before. It's a weird thing to describe. Zane had his first Dental appointment this week. It was kinda cool to see him going for his first. He may be getting his 1 year molars and that could be the cause of the teething but nothing has changed yet. No new teeth to report yet. He did well with the short cleaning of the four he has though. Sometime last week we started Zane on size 3 diapers… which means he’s somewhere over the 16 pound weight milestone. Yes, he’s a little guy. And he does eat! He’s just gaining slowly. Currently we probably feed him about 6 ounces of baby food + 4 ounces of liquids in any one meal. He has 3-4 meals a day and 2 breast feedings still. Today however, ( Read more... )

Zane is 7 months now! Seems like it's been both a long time getting here AND then suddenly very quick too. He's such an easy baby. Today Zane is officially out of premie diapers and into the newborn size. We think he is somewhere at 6 pounds and some ounces. After we brought him home from the hospital I purchased a mass amount of premie diapers off Amazon and we are just now getting finished with them. He’s 7 weeks this week ( Read more... )
