Did you know that in Michigan, summer starts in mid-March?  I didn't either, but apparently it's so.  Yesterday I wore a long sleeve shirt (with two sleeveless shirts layered, but my usual has been two sweaters and a long sleeve shirt so that was pretty light) and pants and when I walked out the door it was HOT.  I had to stick to the shade ( Read more... )

Aaaaaah, roses! Red roses, so many!! I spent almost the entire day doing retouch work on a colour illustration for UraBoku. (check it out when the next volume comes out! This December! Today was muggy and hot, like summer. It was awesome!! I went out and pulled up some of the weeds and ivy growing all over, and I quite enjoyed it. Hopefully I can keep enjoying it long enough to get all or most of the weeds out! But it is quite satisfying to do all this for my very own (rented) yard. It was weirdly warm yesterday evening (after raining a bit during the day) and continues to be so today. And by "weirdly warm" I mean I could go outside with two layers of long sleeves and no coat and I didn't feel cold.
