Hi all! So I thought I should give an update on the kitten situation, after I was raving and all in my last post. ( here follows a lot of rambling about kittens and cats )

Dude, guys, look at this!!! I went outside around dusk to pick some fresh basil to use in my dinner tonight (black bean burgers/croquettes/something-I-made-up-eating them now, delicious) and noticed this fat, dark shape near the pot my basil is growing in. Today was muggy and hot, like summer. It was awesome!! I went out and pulled up some of the weeds and ivy growing all over, and I quite enjoyed it. Hopefully I can keep enjoying it long enough to get all or most of the weeds out! But it is quite satisfying to do all this for my very own (rented) yard. My neighbours built a teepee this evening! I helped a bit. It was still pretty chilly today (some folks noticed snow this morning; I did not, and was happier for it), especially once the sun started to go down and my hands were covered in mud, but we had fun :D

Certain people caused me to want to eat cake at 10:30 in the evening tonight. This was rather difficult, because I don't have cake, and cake takes a long time to make, and also cake without gluten is more than a little tricky. But I figured it out!!
