I just finished the first lettering pass for a book and my heart is in turmoil. Grraaaaah. Oh my goodness, BetsuHana is turning into Taisho-central these days. Sakamoto Miku's Taisho series ended in the May issue, but Takao Shigeru started a new series set in the 1920s in the very next issue (come to think of it, this isn't her first series set in the 20s), and now Miyako Ritsu's got something that looks to be from that era as well ( ( Read more... )

I got a big ol' box of books from Yen Press today~ And I was just carried away by their prettiness. Did you know that in Michigan, summer starts in mid-March?  I didn't either, but apparently it's so.  Yesterday I wore a long sleeve shirt (with two sleeveless shirts layered, but my usual has been two sweaters and a long sleeve shirt so that was pretty light) and pants and when I walked out the door it was HOT.  I had to stick to the shade ( Read more... )
