This past weekend, I headed down to Fresno with Greg for the premier screening of Star Wreck: Spoilager, a Voyager spoof that Tom and a number of his friends had done in 2001, with a bit of re-shooting done in 2006. ( A gimpy, broken ship with a mostly-incompetent crew: what could possibly go wrong? )

The skirt pattern is all laid out downstairs and I started cutting about half an hour ago. I got two cuts done before I started freaking out and crying. Nothing to do with the cutting itself, except as part of the project as a whole, which is seriously stressing me out and I have only myself to blame. I successfully drove on the freeway today, and on some big-ass hills in San Carlos. My nerves are a wee bit frayed. *twitch* I still have a tendency to drift right (and occasionally left), and I only nearly hit someone once (my first time merging onto the freeway). My aunt arrived yesterday from Portland. It's nice to have her here, and she seems to be in good spirits. I got Dad and David's presents yesterday, which was a nice excuse to go to REI.
