The cast list for Dido and Aeneas was posted yesterday. I'm playing the 2nd Witch. I'm not sure yet what all that entails or what the role is, but I'm excited about the opera, regardless. And I'm not chorus! I have my own part!
Today we had our composition pieces performed in Theory. I like most of mine, but there's a place I would change the melody if I had it to do again. I don't like diminished fifth intervals, and I wrote two of them without realizing it. >.<
Today was also my presentation for Cultural Anthropology, which I am now done with (no final! w00t!). I'm not particularly proud of my presentation or of the paper I wrote, but I am proud of myself for getting the paper (5 pages, double-spaced) written in the first place. I felt so scattered and, oddly enough for me, a bit nervous during my presentation. I felt like I couldn't get anything straight in my head, so the presentation itself was a bit scattered. Aaron told me that other than being a bit scattered, it was good, so at least it looked better on the recieving end than from my end. At least I had a cool topic. I did it on the psychological function of role-playing games. Doing the research was fun and pretty easy.
I'm a little worried about getting the sewing machine home for break. I'm going by bus and train, so I'm not really sure how to take it. I need to, though, if I want to have my gown ready for Twelfth Night. I'll have to bug Cat to come and help me finish it. I think I'm going to go sew now.
