I'm madly trying to finish an early 1870s Victorian bustle dress by Wednesday night, cause we're heading north to Arcata on Thursday morning for Sue and David's wedding on Saturday. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
Cin is an absolute life-saver. We spent a couple of hours this morning modifying the bodice pattern for my un-corseted torso, since a corset is just one more thing I don't want to have to deal with (plus mine is too small), and will hopefully continue tonight or tomorrow. Meanwhile, I have to nip out to Fabrics R Us for more muslin, fabric for skirt and over-skirt, and assorted notions (buttons, hooks and eyes, trim). Thank goodness the 62 line goes from two blocks away from my house to across the street from the store!
