optimystik tried to make a donation to Doctors Without Borders yesterday and they no longer have a Haiti-specific option. The only option in their drop-down box is "Emergency Relief".
I have looked at both Yéle Haiti and Canadian Red Cross. I've already made a personal donation to Yéle, but I haven't donated to Canadian Red Cross yet ( Read more... ) -

I made this months ago and never posted it. The Official Kettu Food ListMiko is doing incrementally better. She seems slightly less jaundiced than yesterday. She got doped with valium as soon as I arrived, though, so I can't say how alert she is. I'll ask that they not do that while I'm there tomorrow. delays and expenditures
so.... I screwed up the information I gave to the Payroll department for direct deposit and my paycheque didn't get deposited into my account.

I get paid tomorrow. Got my paystub today and found that I'm getting paid for one more week than I thought. I get 4 weeks' worth of pay all at once. This... is mind boggling for me. Today:- donated bagged clothing to Goodwill (came home and discovered I forgot a shirt. oops!)
- deposited small bit of cash into chequing account
- did one load of dishes chez N
- brought the rest of the dried laundry back home from N's
- researched the effects of MSG on rodents and how it's related to obesity and diabetes (see Read more... )
