I missed two questions because I forgot to post yesterday. Somehow I was busy with sewing and making bread and a bit of gardening, a trip to the post office to post off a parcel, a little bit of grocery shopping, and then the day was over! Time just whizzes by....

This past weekend was the 12th year we have been running writerconuk and 21 people attended this year. We even had people who had not been before and some who came last year and then came back (we didn't manage to scare them off LOL!). I had a great weekend at writerconuk - good food, good company (newbies and old friends), enjoyable and informative presentations, gluing and sticking in the craft section, cocktails, pictionary/charades, fantastic goodie bags and some lovely prizes in the raffle ( Read more... )

The writerconuk sign up post is up hereGo sign up - you don't need to pay until nearer the time but there's a minimum number to make sure it's goes ahead.  If there aren't enough people the committee have to be ruthless and cancel which means late sign ups can put the whole event in jeopardy (and the committee and speakers work long and hard to try and make ( Read more... )
