Spring is starting to spring up here in the outer SE London suburbs. We got up late (for us) this morning and decided after a quick cup of coffee to deadhead and tidy up the garden. As it was around 12C/54F and sunny it was quite pleasant. I think I've lost two of the cordyline plants which is a shame, and there are a few other shrubs that look

Yesterday was a bit of a drizzly day, but we managed to fit in a trip to the garden centre first thing. Then we spent most of the morning replanting the pots in the front garden and planting up a few new plants around the garden. Just as we'd finished it poured with rain which was very helpful! The garden is looking rather pretty at the moment -

Yesterday it was mostly cloudy 15C/59F and the wind was cold again. We went to the garden centre first thing as we needed bird food and we treated ourselves to a new clematis and a pre-planted hanging basket with pansies in. Once we got back we pottered around the garden and I transplanted some of the daffodils I'd had in pots that have finished

The forecast today: 15C/59F cloudy. The sun has been trying to fight it's way through the clouds all day, but not really succeeding. It was still warm enough not to bother with a coat when I went out this morning

Today started with frost again and all my garden daffodils had wilted because of the cold. Today's forecast was 8C/46F and by the afternoon when the wind had dropped it did feel a lot warmer, and my daffodils had all perked up again
