Another chilly day and we are forecast for sleet showers tonight! Today's forecast 10C/50F light rain. The garden is very dry (I've had to water things recently) so the rain will actually be quite welcome, although we're going out on a Nordic walk with our group at 4.30-5.30, so I hope it holds off during that hour ( Read more... )

The alarm went off at 7am, but Mr Cee had already got up an hour earlier as he was sneezing (allergies!). He went into the spare bedroom to have a nap, but Zero cat decided that this was a lovely idea and followed him in there and napped alongside him. It's been sunny pretty much all day and there's a been no rain for a change which is rather nice, but means I'm watering the pots on the deck again.....On the upside there are lemons on my baby lemon tree *excited*

Finally we have some sunshine although it keeps disappearing behind clouds and we are forecast rain later (boo!). It is a warmer 22C/72F which is a relief as I was back in a sweater and wearing socks yesterday (bare feet FTW!).

It's been another busy day - this time we've been concentrating on the garden. This morning I cleared a large dogwood shrub which I've never really been that fond of as it's a bit of a nightmare to keep contained. I haven't had much sleep as poor Mr Cee is suffering with hayfever. I'm assuming it's grass pollen, but that's odd as the grass is struggling with the lack of rain.
