Saturday musings....

I'm not sure how many people are reading my journal these days, but I'll keep making entries just for me *g*

I'm going to miss out on writerconuk next weekend which is a shame as we are going away. However the programme for the weekend looks good if anyone would like to get a last minute place you can see what's on here.

I've damaged a ligament in my left knee - it's been bothering me for a while and seems to be aggravated by bellydance where you tend to twist your knee. Having looked at a lot of sports injury sites I am certain it's a posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) issue which hopefully will sort itself out on it's own, but in the meantime I have to strap it up if I'm dancing and be careful not to over extend it in Pilates. I'm very flexible, so I have to really try not to do that as most of the time I don't realise I am over extending it!  My Pilates teacher has given me some strapping to use and a heat lamp which is helping.  This morning I've been rehearsing for our dance show in November, and the strapping has definitely helped a lot.

Tomorrow we're going out to an open garden even at a friend's house near the coast which should be fun.

Time for the 365 questions:
5 Would you rather live under a sky with no stars at night or live under a sky with no clouds during the day?
No clouds during the day would mean that it would only rain at night, so I'm tempted by that, but it would mean no shade.  Difficult one! As manoah pointed out, if you live near a big city you rarely see many stars anyway. I choose clouds as I love the stars.

6 What inanimate object would be the most annoying if it played loud upbeat music while being used?
So many things .......  I'd hate any lamp fitting to do that. Can you imagine! Ack!

7 Would you rather be constantly tired no matter how much you sleep or constantly hungry no matter what you eat? Assuming that there are no health problems besides the feeling of hunger and sleepiness.
I think I could ignore the hunger as lack of feeling rested would impact so many things - I remember that from having small babies/children and it's exhausting. It means you make silly errors and can hurt yourself - the amount of times I burned my hands when the kids were little is ridiculous!
