Something I noticed on election night while watching TV with Jessica is that I'd become as well versed on recent election information as the newscasters. I'd cut off Tom Brokaw when he started to say that Bush won North Carolina in 2004 by /.../ 12 points or that Florida currently has 27 electoral votes by had only /.../ 25 in 2000. • Jessica and I celebrated our seventh wedding anniversary. The same day we also watched the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation. One-hundred seventy-six episodes from late May to late October by watching at least one a day except for our trip to SF and the day we moved.

Last full day of work tomorrow then until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Baked cookies for Jessica to have sold at a bake sale.
Tired, probably because Jessica's mom miscalculated the time and called at 5:30 a.m.
Cardinals were up 5-1 before their season opener got rained out.
We got about 4 inches of snow today; very heavy and wet.
I'm going to bed.

This weekend?

Friday Jessica and I went to Good Friday services. It was snowing lightly and we walked to church. Good Friday services nowadays make me actually sad when I'm there and thinking about it and all. Since everyone's talking about their crazy weather from today, I'll talk about how it is up here. Yesterday it was 45° (a new record high) and the two feet of snow pack melted off about 5 inches so there was water all over the place. Temps dropped below freezing overnight. Yesterday I went to Minneapolis to take Jessica to the airport to attend a conference in Paris. She still had morning classes to teach, so we got up and I took her to her building.
