Yesterday the Cards beat the Cubs 12-3. I was back from work already when Jessica returned from her office on campus. We were catching up on the day and I said, "The Cardinals won; guess what the score was." She paused and guessed 12-3. I was amused but she was a little freaked out by her accuracy. -
Done Graduated; They Don't Win, A Shame
Jessica did indeed graduate and it was good. We left for Urbana after I got off work Friday and it was late when we arrived a little before 3 a.m. Jessica had to go to the Union at 8 a.m. to get her robe while I slept in. Graduation Miller Park
Haven't posted in a while. During the days on which I do work I don't much feel up to posting. Get up at 4:15-30 a.m., at work by 5:30, get off work at 5:45 p.m., come home, have dinner, clean up, bed by 9:30 p.m. or so. Two main points ( Read more... ) -
CU: P, 1
Thursday evening Jessica and I drove down to Champaign-Urbana so she could attend a conference. Though we lived here for four years, we may have become accustomed to the smaller feel of Eau Claire because, at first, CU seemed bigger than we remembered. Last full day of work tomorrow then until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Baked cookies for Jessica to have sold at a bake sale.
Tired, probably because Jessica's mom miscalculated the time and called at 5:30 a.m.
Cardinals were up 5-1 before their season opener got rained out.
We got about 4 inches of snow today; very heavy and wet.
I'm going to bed. -
