Friday Jessica and I had to go to the skating rink to sign up to work at the spring skating competition that's held in Eau Claire. Last year we signed up for tear-down which was really bad for us. Two weeks ago Jessica and I went sledding on a new and much bigger hill. The hill's actually too tall and steep to start from the top without risk of losing control and running to the side of trees. We got a light dusting of snow so the sledding hill was recharged and ready for some sledding this morning. Jessica doesn't teach on Thursdays, so after breakfast we bundled up and headed on over. Happy new year to all!

Jessica and I enjoyed a nice new year's eve at home. We had some fondue which turned out better than the last time I made fondue. This was from a pack, but imported from Switzerland and quite good. We had champagne after midnight and read Calvin & Hobbes before going to sleep.
