My friend and yoga teacher, Marty, has asked me to take part in a communal garden at her home this summer.  Isn't that the coolest thing ever!  Basically, she loves to garden and it produces too much for her family to use.  So she has offered to buy all of the seeds and supplies to grow an organic garden - all James and I have to do is work in it ( Read more... )

James and I ran to Menard's yesterday for paint for the ceiling and then I found some really good rebates.  A free candle and a $.44 pack of rollers with paintbrush.  I couldn't resist. :)

James and I left on Saturday with Scooter to go to the Porcupine Mountains even farther north than we live now.  We decided to go backpacking and sleep out on the trail for 2 nights, and that was the best Memorial Day Weekend I have ever had.  Not saying it was easy, just fun. :)

My first service at church was so much fun.  We got our new calendar in FINALLY, so we got to hang it up and put it into use today.  It's huge!  It has places for velco pieces for month, year, numbers for the whole month, yesterday, today, tomorrow, weather, and blank pieces to write upcoming events on.   So we did all the pieces of the calendar, ( Read more... )
