I didn't set the alarm this morning, and we woke up around 8:30. Our final move out inspection was at 10:45 so we took our time and had a good breakfast before showering and going to base. I dropped James off at the house because he had a few last minute things to do (like rinse the trash cans), and I went to the Airman's Attic. I went to drop off more boxes, and I also went inside for a quick peek. I got 2 pairs of dress pants and a pair of brown boots. They are so cute! When I got back we waited for the housing people to come, and eventually we called them. They had us down for 11:30 not 10:45 like our out processing sheet said. Oh well. They showed up, and it all went well. We are officially done with that.
We went to the Bx afterwards, but the parking lot was full. I told James just to go to Fairview and we'd go to Lowes instead. We had to get dryer hose, a shelf for the laundry room, and nails. We also went to Cingular to get our bill adjusted. A $200 bill is just not cool. Luckily, they fixed it all up for us. :)
When we got home, we had some mac and cheese for lunch before James left again. He had to do more out processing stuff on base, but I just wanted to stay at home. It was probably a good idea because I didn't feel too well this afternoon. I can't put my finger on what was wrong, but I just felt icky. I made some phone calls, caught up on my internet stuff, cleaned the kitchen, and hung some things on the wall before he got back.
We had homemade pizza for dinner, and it was delicious. I am so glad that our lives are back at a normal pace so I can cook again. It feels like it has been forever.
I just finished watching the American Music Awards. The KFed bit was great, and then the next announcer was Britney. I was literally WOOT'ing at the tv. I love Britney, and I sure hope she makes a come back now.
