Communal Garden

My friend and yoga teacher, Marty, has asked me to take part in a communal garden at her home this summer.  Isn't that the coolest thing ever!  Basically, she loves to garden and it produces too much for her family to use.  So she has offered to buy all of the seeds and supplies to grow an organic garden - all James and I have to do is work in it!  Plant, weed, water, harvest...  I am so very excited for this venture!  James and I have longed talked about getting a place in the country and living off the land, and this is the next best thing until our dreams come true.  We are also hoping to get chickens at my mom's house and build a coop so that we can have free range eggs and fryer chickens too.

Off to get the house in order before dinner.
