James and I left on Saturday with Scooter to go to the Porcupine Mountains even farther north than we live now.  We decided to go backpacking and sleep out on the trail for 2 nights, and that was the best Memorial Day Weekend I have ever had.  Not saying it was easy, just fun. :)

Yesterday I took Tyler up to my parent's house, so that we could work outside.  My dad made me a plot for a garden, and I couldn't wait to plant in it.  So we raked and got most of the weeds and grass out of it before planting.  We have about half of what i want in there.  We have radishes, lettuce, and carrots in so far.  We put tomatoes into ( Read more... )

Well, now we are officially moved out of the house on base. It was a sad good-bye, but you'll see otherwise from the pictures that James' parents took. I'm having a lot of fun in Michigan with my family and friends.
