My friend and yoga teacher, Marty, has asked me to take part in a communal garden at her home this summer.  Isn't that the coolest thing ever!  Basically, she loves to garden and it produces too much for her family to use.  So she has offered to buy all of the seeds and supplies to grow an organic garden - all James and I have to do is work in it ( Read more... )

James and I ran to Menard's yesterday for paint for the ceiling and then I found some really good rebates.  A free candle and a $.44 pack of rollers with paintbrush.  I couldn't resist. :)

I'm having a lot of fun in Michigan with my family and friends.

Scooter called James yesterday morning at 8am, and he woke up both up for the day.  It wasn't bad because I had my alarm set for 7:30, and I guess I shut it off and fell back to sleep.  James woke up and made me chocolate chip pancakes.  They were really yummy!  I wish he would cook more often.

James and I just got this email from his parents who held a snowman building contest this year.  "All parties who submitted a snowman photo should be commended as we really
didn't have much "snow building" precipitation this past winter. Contest
rules dictatated that the snowman be created with snow from the 2005-2006
