Last night James and I had a date night. We didn't officially name it that, but it felt like one. It was a lot of fun!

Scooter called James yesterday morning at 8am, and he woke up both up for the day.  It wasn't bad because I had my alarm set for 7:30, and I guess I shut it off and fell back to sleep.  James woke up and made me chocolate chip pancakes.  They were really yummy!  I wish he would cook more often.

Yesterday was a fairly boring day, and I became pretty pessimistic about life as the day went on.  No reason other than I was being selfish and needing attention.

This morning I had to work, per usual.  Our early classes were quite full, but our 3rd class only had 8 kids.  That's amazing.  We usually have 18-20 during that service.  It was good because our room was infested with ants on the teacher's cabinet, so we turned on a movie for the kiddos and Brad and I cleaned.  Finally, we threw away 2 bags of ( Read more... )

Before 9am, I had made biscuits and gravy for breakfast, baked banana bread, and chocolate chip cookies. I knew I wouldn't have time the rest of the day to do it. A little before 9 I went to the Self-Help Center on base for the flower give away. We got a very small amount considering we used to get a $50 gift certificate to a nursery off base. Saturday morning I was up by 6:30 packing things and checking my list to make sure I wasn't forgetting anything. James drove me to the meeting place and dropped me off so that I could ride with Miss Rosalie, Danielle, and Lisa. I woke up to Tripod shaking the bed, about to hurl. Luckily I got him to the floor in time, but what a way to wake up. Yuck. Thankfully he's feeling better now.

Last night after we went to Borders, we grabbed some Little Ceasars pizza and went to Blockbuster (seeing a repeat here?). We got The Chronicles of Narnia, having never read the book or anything I was pretty entranced by the movie. I loved the part with Aslan resurrecting and Rev.
