I got the tiles finished before the gasman came - though I still need to get cupboards and shelving sorted out. And arrange for a washing machine. Water is back on (and at possibly a higher pressure than we have had previously), which means that I can at least shower properly now. Which is a Good Thing since I am being dragged out for a tour of Buck House (and the Royal Diamonds) by sis and niece today. I should be blogging sensibly about today's electrician's visit - which went splendidly and we now have usable power points and light fittings (though we need to go out and buy new lampshades). Once the morning cloud has burned off it's been a wonderfully bright sunny (if breezy) couple of days and Draco's morning walk in the woods has been glorious. The floor is covered in delicate yellow and gold beech, hornbeam and oak leaves which positively gleam where the sun falls through the trees. I wondered why I have started getting loads of advertising 'targeted' spam in my aol in-box. Mostly with a return e-mail to espot. I finally cracked today and googled espot, which turns out to be a marketing company which has just signed a deal with aol - so I can hardly expect their spam filters to catch the stuff.
