Fanfic and other rubbish

I've been reading rather than writing lately, but I have managed to put together something for my Daily Deviant commitment for August. My problem with writing smut is that I tend to get carried away with background details that have little or no relevance to the object at hand. In this case I may have been watching too many 'trace your ancestor' programmes (or have spent too long with the Black family tree), but it is fun speculating about people based only on their names and dates. A Pure-Blood Profession involves two relatives of Violetta Black (nee Bulstrode), a corset and a brass poker. (R - mostly suggestive).

Meanwhile I am finally planning on taking a load of our unwanted Stuff to the local car boot sale. This is a huge event that clogs up the roads around Collier Row every Sunday morning. The internet reveals that the start time (sellers and buyers) is 6am, which should be no problem since the dogs wake up at 4...

It's an eclectic lot of stuff - none of which I expect to sell (loads of wool bought for use with the knitting machine which I have nowhere to set up, the old Bolex cine camera and its editing machine (the internet tells me this is worth about £60 trade), suspect that I'll be bringing it back. A collection of 60s toys, including one of my Pelham Puppets, a load of Britains farm pieces (one of which, the horsebox, is still boxed and therefore may be worth rather more than I paid in 1960), and various cat things won at raffles. I suspect that a lot of this will end up at the tip on Monday if not sold on Sunday.

And somewhere there is a box of unwanted china that actually might sell but which I can't find either in the house or in store. And after loading that lot into the car I still haven't made any dent in the stuff in storage!
