When a tragedy occurs, it's not unusual to want to find out more--why did this happen, could it have been prevented, that sort of thing. But when you discover a tie to the tragedy, no matter how tenuous, it brings it home ( just that much more. )

One of the things you have to think about as a possible future educator is your background, because inevitably it will be checked. Through one of my classes, I was able to get my fingerprints done for free--a $40-$45 value! What a deal!
