Some of you might have caught wind that my father went into surgery on Wednesday to get his right hip replaced again. The surgery went well, they managed to remove three bone cysts that ended up being larger than the x-ray showed, filling in the gaps with cadaver bone. Yesterday I underwent a Programmer's Rite of Passage… apparently I've written code that is so good it blows out the Windows XP registry and corrupts it. Mind you, this code is nothing beyond the standard Excel/Access VBA, but something about it corrupted my "hive" which in turn prevented Windows from loading upon reboot ( Read more... )
