We got our stuff back from storage on Friday! It feels so good to have home feel like home again. That was a miserable month. (Except for the Los Angeles trip and bonus fabric shopping with bauhausfrau, of course!) Haven't sewn in weeks. In fact, I haven't even turned on the light in the sewing room in weeks. Sigh. But I did present a paper at my third conference! My whirlwind trip (two days round-trip by train for one day at Winterthur) to Wilmington, Delaware was a super experience. I'm heading to the train station this morning for 14 hours of affordable travel to get myself to Wilmington, Delaware. Tomorrow is a study day at Winterthur Museum with the Textile Society of America! I'm looking at going to the conference in Williamsburg again this March. Still figuring out if I can make it work, but thought I'd do a shout-out to see if anyone else is going. Always helps the budget and the fun level to be there with friends. :)

It has been so nice to slip on flats and go for a walk with my dog. Today I stopped to take pictures and smell the blossoms on an apple tree we found. So lovely!

It's taken me a week to unwind, unpack, and catch up at home, after the conference at Plymouth State University in New Hampshire. I was super focused on writing my paper, plus I had a ten day trip to see family, so it's been nice to putter along this week.
