Обожаю сравнивать идиомы в родном языке и в изучаемом. Еще на первом курсе преподавательница озадачила: "Представляете, насколько у нас разные менталитеты, если мы _валяем дурака_ (хоть что-то, но делаем:)), а они - _валяются под розами_ (то есть отдыхать так отдыхать:))?".
