Last night I went to an annual Halloween party that I've been meaning to attend for years. Every year, this guy tricks out his yard in some unbelievably elaborate manner. Omegacon was a blip. An awesome, spectacular blip, but a blip nevertheless. It felt more like a fun night out with friends than a vacation. Somehow got my work backlog down to a manageable level, at least until I get about eighteen pounds of crap in the mail again. Which is inevitable, but hopefully not very near future inevitable. Contrary to popular belief, I did do things this week other than recap CONvergence. I bought a new remote control for my TV, and I saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Religious Pretense turned out to be a pretty fun show. Not the hugest audience in the world, but they were into it. The improv took a weird turn when it was discovered the man on trial was actually Batman.
