Omegacon was a blip. An awesome, spectacular blip, but a blip nevertheless. It felt more like a fun night out with friends than a vacation. Probably because circumstances forced me to get there later than usual, and once I got there did less stuff than usual. Why, I don't really know. The check engine light on the car was nothing. Well, almost nothing. When the AC compressor fried it took the main sensing module with it, so it's perpetually reading a problem that does not exist. The mechanic manually checked all the sensors and verified that nothing is wrong with the engine. Which is astonishing, as it had almost no oil or ( Read more... )

I was a little worried the weekend was not going to work out. Friday, my milk turned sour, so I didn't have breakfast.
