Omegacon Prep
I will not be able to leave for Omegacon until tomorrow, probably 5ish. Rather frustrated by that. I need some distance from my job.
Packing. One of the two t-shirts I've ordered arrived (the amusing one, not the super cool one alas), plus the watch I ordered with a months old gift card. Bought some scotch. Settled on Bunnahabhain 12 year, always wanted to try it. Also got a wifi card for the laptop. For the first time ever, I will be sort of on par with other attendees, technologically.
Struggling to think of something cool to bring. Don't really have any games anyone would want to play. Maybe I'll bring One Page Bulge and have it sit forlornly on the games table. I bought that game for a buck years and years ago. Always wanted to play it, it's just never happened. Maybe I'll just bring myself. I am rumored in some corners to be cool.
Also sticking rat poison in every possible corner of the house. Really damn sick of the mouse problem. This will sound messed up, but I want to come back to a house littered with mouse carcasses.
Gonna finish up some house cleaning, and then have a splash of Balvenie. Hic.
