Up north in the winter I have seen where people have put out fruit for the birds. I have never tried it here in warmer Florida, but just recently I’ve seen some of my facebook friends who live in Florida cut an orange in half and nail it to a tree. I have not posted in LJ for a long time now and I had to look at my last post just to see how long it's been. Four weeks! Yesterday I went down to check on the chrysalis. It doesn’t look good to me, especially after Des said it might be injured. Now it seems to be completely covered with drops of fluid. Sunday it was dry except for the two little drops at the bottom, but then the next day this is what it looked like.
